The Dutiful Watchdog (ものうげ番犬^?, lit.: "Melancholic Watchdog") is a treasure in Hey! Pikmin, that can be found in the Springpetal Cave area. It is a Coclé jaguar pendant made of gold and emerald.^[1] It is two times the size of Olimar, and three times his width.

Near the end of the area, the player will encounter a Springpetal. They'll need 20 Pikmin in order to jump the highest possible, and reach the treasure. Then, the player just has to throw 10 Pikmin at it.
