The '''Gameplay Guide''' is a [[menu]] in {{p4}} that teaches the player how the game works and what the [[controls]] are. Each guide has some text and an image or a video alongside it.

The Gameplay Guide can be opened at any time when a menu is open by pressing {{button|switch|-}}{{button|switch|hold}} with dual Joy-Con or a Pro Controller, or by pressing {{button|switch|+}}{{button|switch|hold|switch|-}}{{button|switch|hold}} with horizontal controls.
