The '''Lightning Shock''' ({{j|しびれサンダー|Shibire sandā|Paralysis thunder}}) is an item introduced in {{p4}} that stuns all enemies in a range for a short time when used. It is unlocked when a total of {{sparklium|p4|6500}} is acquired. It is also available from [[Mystery Capsule]]s in [[Dandori Battle]]s. In the side mode [[Olimar's Shipwreck Tale]], [[Olimar]] gains Lightning Shocks as bonuses for retrieving 5, 17, and then 21 [[ship part]]s. The player can also make it a shortcut in the shortcut settings.

Pikmin that are trapped in the jaws of stunned enemies can be whistled in order to be released.
