The '''Miniature Snootwhacker''' ({{j|コバナタタキ|Ko Bana Tataki|Little Nose-Knocker}}) is an {{w|elephant}}-like [[enemy]] in {{p4}}. They are the younger variants of the [[Mammoth Snootwhacker]]. Due to their tough skin, they are immune to most physical attacks from Pikmin, even [[Rock Pikmin]]. Their belly are their weak spots, but they can only be exposed by charging at them with [[Oatchi]], using a [[lightning shock]], or detonating a [[bomb rock]] or other explosive item near the creature.

== Behavior ==
When alone, Miniature Snootwhackers waddle around slowly. When noticing the player or Pikmin, they start waddling quickly towards the intended target. To attack, they will use their trunk to do a spinning attack. If this attack hits their target, they are briefly knocked into the air and sent a moderate distance away from where they were hit. If Oatchi hits a Miniature Snootwhacker with a rush, it will flip and reveal its soft belly, which is able to be damaged by Pikmin and/or Oatchi. When the Miniature Snootwhacker regains it's footing after being flipped, it will knock off any Pikmin attacking it. The Miniature Snootwhacker is unable to kill Pikmin.

==Appearance==
The Miniature Snootwhacker is a small, green, elephant-like creature with a bright red underbelly and a small version of the [[Mammoth Snootwhacker]], its older counterpart. Its color palette and texture resemble that of a watermelon.

Due to the creature's hard skin, it cannot be attacked directly. Using [[Oatchi]]'s Rush attack is the simplest and most effective method to flip the Snootwhacker over in order to attack its soft underbelly. If the Miniature Snootwhacker reacts before beaten, just try again Oatchi’s rush. In caves like [[Ultimate Testing Range]], the Miniature Snootwhacker will appear after an [[Iron fence]], blocking the way for Oatchi. But you can still surround the fence over the parts that are the ground’s edge. In the Dream Home, the situation is a lot harder. There is or a climbing wall to access the Miniature Snootwhacker, so you can use [[Glow Pikmin]] to create a Glowmob and toss the Snootwhacker over.
