Unlikely redirect

Well, I know that. The point is that "Gattling" is a typo, and that this redirect was seldom used when its use was entirely unnecessary. ~ Cheepy (talk) 

Redirect pages aren't just for links, they're for searching. Some names are easy to misspell, and if someone searches an incorrectly spelled word, often the search page won't show the page they're looking for since the incorrectly spelled word appears nowhere in it. Typo redirects like this are important in making sure people searching for something can get to the page they're looking for. — Botanist_(talk) 01:09, July 27, 2021 (EDT)

I'm aware of that as well, but when someone types "Gat" in the search box, "Gatling Groink" will have already popped up as a recommended option. ~ Cheepy (talk)
