How the hell do we know that this ISN'T just PNF-404, just at some point in time where it's a little different from the mainline games? In my opinion it just all seems to look like this is just PNF-404 (considering the wildlife and also treasures, as well as the fact that Pikmin are even here) but just somewhat geographically different. Time likely moves differently on PNF-404 than it does on say, Hocotate or Koppai, so to me it's not too unlikely that some lands might've shifted around a bit while Olimar was gone. what if the planet is a future terraformed Mars and the reason that we see overlapping creatures on these planets is that humans brought some of pnf 404's life to it
