That's a kind of...jumble... I put together the basic template, and I think it's good enough. Are there any rows we wouldn't want to appear in some cases? GP

Ugh... Of course. I let myself get too confused with the "pipe" thing on the tutorial. And, no; the template is completely fine. It may be 22.30, but my conscience wouldn't let me sleep right without doing anything constructive here today.--Prezintenden

Scientific and family names

For some reason changing the "name" field just changes the text at the top of the infobox. Since Pikmin have scientific names now, we need a field for that. We also need one for the family name. -Starlet (talk) 16:16, July 28, 2023 (EDT)

If you check the template history, you can see we actually did add a scientific name parameter, but then removed it, as it makes sense to just put the scientific names in the "Naming" section of the article to stop the infobox getting too big. — Soprano_(talk) 03:35, August 10, 2023 (EDT)
