Other sources

The following are renewable or otherwise minor sources of raw material:

  • Expanding the Rescue Command Post awards 15 pieces of raw material.
  • Many dirt-mounds will contain 10 pieces of raw material, regenerating daily.
  • Iridescent Flint Beetles may drop 20 pieces of raw material total when struck three times.
  • When most gates are destroyed, they will expel two pieces of raw material per stage. Other obstacles, like breakable pots, may also contain a small amount of raw material.
  • Many medium-to-large enemies, such as Bulborbs or Pricklepuffs, will drop a single piece of raw material when defeated.
  • When a large, boss-like enemy such a Sovereign Bulblax is defeated without having a treasure or castaway to drop, it may drop 20 raw material.
  • Skutterchuck rocks will often break into a piece of raw material when hit by Rock Pikmin.
