The Bearded Amprat is a species found only in Pikmin 3. It is based on a rat, or a guinea pig. When Pikmin approach, the Amprat will rub the fur on its face to generate electricity, charging after Pikmin and eating them. They can be found in the Distant Tundra.
Strategy
Any color of Pikmin works against this enemy, but Yellow Pikmin are recommended, as it has an electric defense, and make sure you use a lot, because it grabs Pikmin off of it and proceeds to eat them, and this is very annoying and hard to avoid, so you can either call them to you quickly, or use several Pikmin.
