Dandelion family: Difference between revisions

The '''dandelion family''' is a family of plants in the main three [[Pikmin series|''Pikmin'' games]] as well as {{hp}}, and it consists of two members. These plants exist in real life as well, under the family name {{w|Asteraceae}}.

The Seeding Dandelion is a [[plant]] in ''Pikmin 2'', ''Pikmin 3'', and ''Hey! Pikmin''. In the 3D games, it is even rarer than the [[Dandelion]], appearing only on the [[Perplexing Pool]] and the [[Sniper Room]]. If it's touched, some of its seeds detach and float away. In ''Hey! Pikmin'', it is much smaller, and Pikmin that touch it stop walking and jump in, until the player whistles them again. Seeds nearly identical to the ''Pikmin 2'' and ''Pikmin 3'' versions can also be seen in cutscenes.
