Heroine's Tear: Difference between revisions

The '''Heroine's Tear''' is a fruit found in ''[[Pikmin 3]].'' It appears to be a [[wikipedia:mango|mango]]. In Story mode, the only Heroine's Tear to be collected can be found after defeating the [[Vehemoth Phosbat]] in the [[Distant Tundra]], as well as Captain Charlie. It takes 10 Pikmin to carry and provides two and a half rations of yellow juice. The fruit is slightly more common in Mission Mode, however, being found in two stages: [[Forgotten Cove]] and [[Clockwork Chasm]]. It is worth 500 points.

==How to obtain==

The one Heroine's Tear is found after defeating the Vehemoth Phosbat. It will only take 10 Pikmin to carry. Do note that the Paper Bag outside of the Phosbat's arena must be pushed down if the fruit should be collected. Along the route back is a [[Joustmite]], a [[Bearded Amprat]], and some [[Skeeterskate]]s. The Skeeterskates will be an issue, since likely the player does not have [[Blue Pikmin]], but make sure that the Joustmite and the Bearded Amprat are defeated. {{clear}}

If the player leaves the [[Distant Tundra]] without collecting the Heroine's Tear, then comes back with [[Winged Pikmin]], a [[glitch]] may occur. If Winged Pikmin are ordered to carry the fruit back, they will lift it up just a little bit too high to get through the exit to the cave in which the [[Vehemoth Phosbat]] is fought. They will get stuck right at this point, and while in this state they cannot be called back to one of the [[Captains]]. More Winged Pikmin can be added to the fruit, but this will do nothing. The fruit and the Pikmin will remain stuck for the rest of the day, and the item will not be able to be retrieved until the next day.
