The Let's Play On Wii range of video games is a collection of GameCube titles that were ported to the Nintendo Wii, with their controls altered for play on the newer console. During a Nintendo press conference on October 2008, the range was announced, along with the details that it will include the two Pikmin games.[1] It has since been announced that the release date for Pikmin in Japan is 25th December, 2008.[2] Currently, Pikmin 2's re-release is expected to arrive in 2009. On November 1st, ""Let's Play On Wii"" was annouced for the North American version of Pikmin.[3]
