The Pikipedia is a wiki for information pertaining to Pikmin, the series of video games developed by Nintendo. It was created on December 3rd 2005 by Dark Lord Revan on wikia. It began moving to pikminwiki.com on September 14th, 2010, after users of PikCanon-NOT offered Pikipedia to also move to their new domain. The move was quick, thanks to a bot created by Greenpickle. The outdated wikia site still exists today, and Greenpickle's moving notice can still be found there. Pikipedia currently has 1,876 articles so far. Having only one consonant difference, its name resembles that of Wikipedia closely, well still retaining the first part of the word pikmin.
Being a wiki, everybody is free to edit pages and leave comments on talk pages, done by using the edit tab at the top of pages. Other ways to get involved and become part of the community include creating or participating in topics at the forum and chatting in the IRC chatroom.
