SPERO is a type of unmaned prob used by the koppians to search for a planet with fruit on it in order to save their planet Koppai in the opening sequence to Pikmin 3. The very last prob to be sent is the one that finds PNF-404 as a postive planet for fruit life.

Mission Mode

a SPERO is used as a storage device for the fruit collected in Pikmin 3's Mission Mode.
