'''Decor Pikmin''' are a collectable in the [[Pikmin 2 (Nintendo Switch)|Nintendo Switch port of ''Pikmin 2'']], added in the version 1.4.0 [[update]]. Like [[Decor Pikmin|Decor Pikmin in ''Pikmin Bloom'']] and [[Decor Pikmin (Pikmin 4)|Decor Pikmin in ''Pikmin 4'']], they are special [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] that wear a costume. Decor Pikmin costumes can be found by collecting gift boxes hidden in [[area]]s. There are 3 gift boxes in each of the 4 areas, for a total of 12 types of Decor Pikmin. Gift boxes can be detected by the [[Treasure Gauge]], and come in five different colors for the five Pikmin types. A gift box can only be carried by Pikmin of the corresponding color, and will be carried to that type's [[Onion]] (or to the [[Hocotate ship]] for types without an Onion). Upon being carried to an Onion, there will be a [[cutscene]] where the box and the Pikmin go into the Onion and the Pikmin comes out again with a costume and becomes a Decor Pikmin. From then on, the first Pikmin to be taken out of an Onion will be Decor Pikmin of that type, with other Pikmin not being Decor Pikmin. There can only be 1 Decor Pikmin of each Decor type in the field, and they function the same as other Pikmin.

== Decopedia ==

There is a Decopedia for viewing each of the Decor Pikmin types that have been collected. Like the [[Piklopedia (Pikmin 2)|Piklopedia]] and [[Treasure Hoard]], the Decopedia can be accessed from the [[area selection menu]], and it's possible to switch between viewing the Piklopedia, the Treasure Hoard, and the Decopedia by pressing {{button|switch|padl}} and {{button|switch|padr}}. In the Decopedia, it's possible to look at each Decor Pikmin type with the same controls as in the Treasure Hoard, and read notes about each type written by the [[Hocotate ship]].
