They behave exactly like all other [[Candypop family|Candypop Buds]], except when [[Pikmin family|non-Yellow Pikmin]] are thrown in, they will change into [[Yellow Pikmin]]. If Yellows are thrown in, they will be reverted to leaf [[Maturity|stages]], and don't count against the 5 Pikmin limit per Candypop Bud; this only applies to ''[[Pikmin 2]]'' and ''[[Pikmin 3]]''. In ''[[Pikmin (game)|Pikmin]]'', this bud can be used up to 50 times to get massive amounts of Yellow Pikmin, but Yellow Pikmin themselves ''do'' count against the limit.

This particular Candypop Bud is the rarest kind in ''Pikmin 2'', as only one is found, inside the [[Glutton's Kitchen]] on sublevel 3. It is more common in ''Pikmin 3'', as [[electrode]]s require Yellow Pikmin and some of them are mandatory to beat the game. However, it is also the only Candypop Bud never to appear in [[Mission Mode]].
