The Primitive Saw is a treasure found in Hey! Pikmin. It is actually a golden modern key.

Right after the beginning of the area, the player will encounter two leaf platforms. The player must wait for the wind to raise those leaves, in order to go under the lowest one, towards the left. They will then reach a small room with the treasure inside.
