The '''Red Bubblimp''' ({{j|アカゴデメシズク|Akago De Me Shizuku|Baby Bug-Eyed Drop}}) is a harmless [[enemy]] in {{hp}}. In this game, they appear as newborns of the species. They look like a red simple-celled organism with two eye stalks and four legs, enveloped in a bubble of water. Red Bubblimps drip out from the ceiling, and cannot cause any harm. Touching one, whether by having it bump into a Pikmin or Captain Olimar, or by [[throw]]ing a Pikmin at it, will make it explode and die. Even if they don't cause damage, they can still be a nuisance: when they burst, any Pikmin that touched it, or Captain Olimar himself, will be knocked backwards a bit, which can create a distraction for bigger problems, like more dangerous enemies nearby.

== Behavior ==
These enemies always appear in ceilings. When Olimar or a Pikmin gets close to its spawn location, it appears from its spot on the ceiling, and starts to drip away like a drop. After some seconds, it finally falls down and begins walking towards the nearest Pikmin, or towards Olimar himself. They won't stop until they come into contact with a Pikmin or Olimar, at which point, they burst and die. Although they can survive underwater, they can't actually swim. Instead, they will continue with their normal behavior, but move slightly slower.

This enemy can be defeated while it's still spawning. It causes a distinct sound when it starts to appear, so even if you don't see it, you can still keep an ear out for it. Once you do, throw a Pikmin at it before it drops down and starts to become a bother. Even if it drops down, you can still throw a Pikmin at it. If you know there is no danger around, then you can safely ignore it, since the most it will do is cost you a bit of time.
