Template talk:NIWA

Well, its a matter of time before you guys tell us you're ready to join NIWA, so I threw this together. I used the outset border and colors from the site notice template. I've got a better idea for the curved bit, we can template that and one of the admins can run a text replace to make it easier to code new templates later. Plus the one we use at WiKirby works in more browsers than just FireFox. Since the style here is rounded tl and br corners, one template can do that. I'd say we could name it {{roundy}} since editors of many niwa wikis are familiar with that and it would automatically use the preferred style.

Also, I'm not sure how you guys categorize these, so forgive me for leaving that to the staff here. And lastly, once its up to standards, could you get it on the fanon subdomain? Well we look forward to having you guys. For the same template on the other Wikis, feel free to find an image to use. At WiKirby, we like the fact that we were able to use images from Kirby games in the NIWA bar, if nothing from a Kirby game can be found for it, feel free to use the same image as on the other niwa wikis. The skin uses both Mozilla and WebKit rules, plus the draft W3C standard for rounded borders. Do we have rounded templates? I can't find any, and the main page boxes aren't rounded either. I'm not sure why that is, but I removed that CSS from this for consistency. If we do make such a template: I'm not a fan of 'roundy' for how informal it is, and the fact this template would add other style properties than just rounded borders; redirecting it to the one with a better name should work, though. It should have border curvature optional and customisable, so it'll be compatible with existing templates too.

I think it's possible the logo will change (perhaps favicon and skin and identity along with it), so wait a while before adding any image for us to other members' templates. GP

If you didn't know, Green, the box at the front of the main page is rounded. The style of {{Round}} on Pikipedia seems to be a "leaf" shape. The one and only,Peanut64.

I said that months ago, when it wasn't. And yeah, I know; I made it do that. As documented on the template, pass the full argument to make every corner round. GP

Wikibound

Why does it link to Wikirby? It's hosted by Zelda Wiki, right? Also, Zelda Wiki, and by consequence Wikibound are both offline. Anybody have any info on that? {Espyo^T} 11:15, 8 August 2011 (EDT)
