Gildemander
Caves
- Doppelgänger's Den
- There is one Gildemander on sublevel 4. It can be found directly north of the base, in the center of a large, open arena with multiple breakable pots around the edges. It holds the Thrill-Ride Track, and defeating it lowers the numbered gate towards the west, allowing for the leafling castaway to be rescued.
- Cavern for a King
- There is one Gildemander on sublevel 13. It is located towards the north, in a large space full of sticky mold, Poison Spotcaps, and a pair of poison emitters. The Gildermander holds the Mysterious Carriage, and defeating it lowers the nearby numbered gate, allowing for the next sublevel to be entered.
Olimar's Shipwreck Tale
- Hero's Hideaway
- There is one Gildemander in this tale's area. It can be found towards the southeast of the area, near where the Foot of the Stairs base would be during Story Mode. The Gildemander will only spawn once the Porquillion on top of the table has been defeated, and the Interstellar Radio has been dropped. A small cutscene will play once the Porquillion has been defeated, showing the Gildemander up close where it is located. Olimar questions whether the Gildemander is what caused the Pikmin to flee from the Onion. Once defeated, another small cutscene plays, showing the Gildemander's death animation and both the Onion and Pikmin returning to normal.
