It's because the page is protected from unregistered users, as well as unautoconfirmed users. I don't mean to offend you in any way, but you're not an autoconfirmed user yet. Once you are autoconfirmed, you can edit the page (sadly, I don't know the requirements to become autoconfirmed; I think you might need to be here for at least seven days and make at least ten edits, but again, I'm not completely sure). :What PikFan said. I don't remember what the requirements are, but I know we blocked it so that really new and inexperienced users wouldn't add unconfirmed facts or crazy speculation. In your case, you just want to correct something small, but the autoconfirmation is still needed. Maybe GP can manually confirm you.
