In Pikmin Bloom, each Pikmin has a Friendship level.
Mechanics
Friendship is shown in the form of hearts. The lowest possible Friendship is 0 filled hearts, and the maximum is 4 filled hearts. Friendship can be levelled up by sending Pikmin on expeditions, walking with them, feeding them Nectar, or sending them on Challenges.
When a Pikmin reaches the maximum Friendship level, a new Expedition for a gift box will appear. The Pikmin can be sent on this Expedition, and will turn into a Decor Pikmin.
Pikmin with higher a higher Friendship level will do better in Challenges.
