A Golden Tablet stating that Pikmin can shield themselves from a predator's view by hiding in tall plants.

Golden Tablets are collectables scattered around the surface of PNF-404 in Pikmin 3. They appear as glowing yellow SD Cards or Folders that float in place. Once a Golden Tablet has been uncovered, its text can be read by clicking its icon on the KopPad screen.

Purpose

Golden Tablets, when collected, provide various hints and bits of information of various topics. It is unknown if they respawn, or how many of them are present ingame. It is through these items that Alph, Brittany, and Charlie gain understanding of the Pikmin and the world they come from.
