Purple Pikmin are found in Pikmin 2 and you first find them in the Emergence Cave. You need them to get 3 treasures, and are useful for defeating enemies. They are very heavy, but like ants, they carry several times their weight! They can carry things that 10 Pikmin can! They also weigh ten 'grams' when they are on the platforms. Their weight however slows them down when they move or carry items. Their battle abilities are superb because when you throw them, they make enemies bounce and may stun them for 8-10 seconds.
