This page will serve as a little talk page until we figure out if these black Pikmin are real, so nobody please change it.

OK, the fact that you have a picture of them isn't really proof they are real. Here are some I made myself. If you made them and didn't use a cheat device like I did, then tell me how you made them. Seriously, if this were true, than that would be just overwhelming! However, I think you found this somewhere on the internet or used the said cheating device. As long as these black carrots are not on my gamecube, this page is does not have any in-game aspects, and therefor will be deleted. Prezintenden_(babble) 13:33, 11 October 2007 (UTC)

I agree. I think this site should only have information on things that the programmers put in the game for the player to see by normal means. Whether this type of Pikmin is in the game, but only as something that was removed, or whether the cheat device simply alters the Pikmin's colours, this does not pertain to the series as it was created.- Greenpickle_(talk) 16:55, 9 October 2007 (UTC)

==REAL!== I will tell you. I just picked up a article on ign about getting black pikmin. It is actualy a mutated yellow pikmin. just take 50 yellows, 20 reds, and 30 blues. then, on impact site, give the yellow pikmin bomb rocks.. throw them into the water. only try it after day 15. then, end the day. the next day or 2 you go back to the water, they will be black!!!! try it 3 or 4 times!!

Man... 15 minutes of pure humiliation... I'm still surprised that I actually did this. I'm just glad nobody watched me. The most moronic moment must have been when the blues saved the drowning yellows. Soo, If you didn't already figure it out by now, no, it did not work. I tried it 3 times and waited 2 days every single time. NO black Pikmin. But seriously, why should there be any? We would have heard SO much more about them. Every single site that has something about Pikmin would have guides how to make these. I have the PAL version. If any of you guys has a different version and would sacrifice him/herself for the sake of this article, then please, go ahead. I have heard of this before, and it is achieved using a cheating device. I saw it on a Youtube video. I've moved all this to the talk page for now, whether this page is deleted or not.

I think it would be cool if Black pikmin existed but there is no proof that they do and therefore I will not believe in these things.

Black Pikmin? Not Likely, the "Black Pikmin" are probably acheived through a cheating device or some sort of glith. Another possibility is that the pictures are fake and they don't exist at all. The page should be deleted either way.--Acejam 20:35, 12 October 2007 (UTC)

Black pikmin are real I think. My friend has this game and he probably messed up his game and if you ever saw a black wall in his game only black pikmin could destroy it! Or are they real...

Maybe, just MAYBE, there might be black pikmin in pikmin 3 if it comes out. A nice effect for black pikmin would be being able to make tunnels or something like that? If not, then I've got no idea what black pikmin could do if they were in pikmin 3

Well the black pikmin could exist in pikmin three that is supposed to come out, and at the good ending of the frist pikmin when you are flying away from the planet there is enfact a couple balck onions and some other colors, like green and ornge(I think there was a purple to).--174.130.194.25 04:22, November 26, 2009 (UTC)JZK
