I once heard somewhere that this type of Creature was created by Tingle from the Zelda series.

Yeah, in Super Smash Bros. Melee you could jump down from Tingle's balloon and attack opponents with a down attack, and I just realized the simularity between that and the Careening Diribug....Pikdude 00:27, 18 January 2008 (UTC)

Could someone confirm that the Careening Dirigibug can make duds (rocks will explode, but not when they hit the ground, only when you attack them or they are cought in another explosion).Prof.

I read the dud factor on a brawl trophy. but maybe we could call pikbusters.
On zelda wind waker you could tell tingle to come and drop bombs while hes floating with the same amount of ballons as the careening dirigibug so its probally bassed of him
