Use

This template is used to display the various notes of the game, in a common format.

The use of this template is changing; old-style uses need to be changed to new-style uses.

New

Pass arguments for each subpage of "Notes:Article name" containing transcripted notes, out of the following:

where each of these is exactly the same as the name of the subpage. For example, a typical treasure would have {{notes|journal=y|sale=y}}

Old

{{notes|type}}

Use this on articles to include subpages of "Notes:Article name" containing notes. Subpages for each type are as follows:

treasure
  • journal - Olimar's Journal
  • journalnpc - Olimar's Journal in New Play Control! Pikmin 2 (if different)
  • sale - Sales Pitch
enemy
  • reel - enemy reel notes (Pikmin)
  • olimar - Olimar's notes (Pikmin 2)
  • louie - Louie's notes (Pikmin 2)
part
  • notes - Olimar's notes on ship parts; those on discovering the part come first, then those on collecting it after a horizontal rule (----)
