The Hypno Pendulum (マインドコントローラー?, lit.: "Mind Controller") is the second treasure found in Hey! Pikmin. It is located behind a doorway that can only be accessed by Captain Olimar using his jetpack. It is actually a blue yo-yo with a star on the sides.

After defeating the first Mockiwi of the area, the player must use the jetpack in order to enter a raised doorway, which is unreachable for Pikmin. Then, the player can find the Hypno Pendulum on the other side.
