To update[edit]

In order to update the site's notice, follow this checklist.

  1. Make a non-minor edit to this template.
  2. Edit the anonymous user template if it exists.

There, now we won't forget any steps in case we need to update this again. — {EspyoT} 15:17, 10 July 2015 (EDT)

NIWA[edit]

NintendoWiki is newer than Golden Sun Universe. --SnorlaxMonster 18:34, 19 December 2010 (EST)

Yeah, it just doesn't seem like it for me since they've had it running for quite a while behind the scenes. GP

Pikmin 3 update[edit]

The site notice should probably be updated to reflect the European & Australian release of Pikmin 3. At the time of writing this, it only mentions the Japanese release.--Vellidragon (talk) 14:05, 28 July 2013 (EDT)

Editing should wait, as the North American release is days away. Also, only admins can edit the SiteNotice as it's a MediaWiki page, but no admins are active ATM... ~PikFan23
Well, it could be edited again when the NA version is released. It would make sense to me to keep the notice as up to date as possible if this is striving to become the primary source for Pikmin info, especially as there's no news section on the main page.--Vellidragon (talk) 00:22, 29 July 2013 (EDT)
Hmm, yeah, that makes sense, but again, there's no way to edit it since no admins are active. ~PikFan23

Many thanks for updating this, but it appears that logged out users still see the old message. I am guessing this is due to MediaWiki:Anonnotice, which I assume needs seperate updating. Just leaving this here to let people know.--Vellidragon (talk) 19:21, 4 August 2013 (EDT)

Should we add[edit]

Should we add something along the lines of "Pikipedia has moved here. All edits should be made their instead. Ad free, quicker, and more customizable." I think it would... motivate people to switch to the new Pikipedia. IAMAHIPO_ocolor 12:32, October 10, 2010 (UTC)

Well, we hardly care about this one any more, so it's just a matter of warning people that it has moved. Nobody should stay here, and maybe we shouldn't say that the new one is better - it just moved. ...It's kind of hard to explain what I mean... {EspyoT} 14:18, October 10, 2010 (UTC)
