==Expedition Snapshots==
When returning from a fruit or seedling expedition, Pikmin may bring back a postcard that has one or more "Expedition Snapshots" attached to them. Snapshots are essentially a smaller postcard, as they feature one or more of the Pikmin that were sent on the expedition posing next to pictures of some locations the Pikmin passed while on the expedition. The theorized minimum distance required for a Pikmin to bring back a postcard with a Snapshot is 25km, with more Snapshots being attached to the postcard the further the expedition is. The current maximum amount of Snapshots attached to a single postcard is unknown.
Pikmin may bring back Expedition Snapshots when returning from a fruit or seedling expedition. Postcards received with Snapshots will contain additional wayspots attached to them. The theorized minimum distance required for a Pikmin to bring back a snapshot is 25km, with greater distances returning more snapshots. The current maximum amount of Snapshots is unknown.

Postcards containing Expedition Snapshots can be sent to and received by [[friend]]s. The postcard and Expedition Snapshots are inseparable, meaning postcards with Snapshots attached cannot be sent without the Snapshots, and vice versa. This also means Snapshots cannot be deleted from a postcard, and vice versa. Snapshots do not take up any extra space in player's postcard storage.

The poses Pikmin can make on the Expedition Snapshots are the same poses available on all the normal postcards. Interestingly, unlike on postcards, the full bodies of the Pikmin can be seen in the Expedition Snapshots (For example, a "selfie" or "peeking" pose normally only displays the top half of a Pikmin on a normal postcard, while the full body can be seen on the Expedition Snapshot).
