The '''Venom Dweevil''' is an [[enemy]] in {{p4}}. It is a green [[Dweevil family|dweevil]] that sprays poisonous gas when attacked. Therefore, the player should fight these creatures using [[White Pikmin]] or [[Glow Pikmin]].

The Venom Dweevil greatly resembles the [[Munge Dweevil]] in both appearance and behaviour, except that it is teal instead of purple.

== Behavior ==
Venom Dweevils will pick up any stray objects they can lift, making it necessary to defeat them in order to obtain certain treasures. The toxic cloud they create is deadly to most types of [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]], requiring the player to whistle back any non-White Pikmin caught in the poisonous gas. However, they are not particularly tenacious and only emit venom if the player throws Pikmin at them.

[[White Pikmin]] are resistant to the Venom Dweevil's attacks, so they are able to attack the Dweevil to remove their carried object without succumbing to poison. However, due to the scarcity of White Pikmin, it is also ideal to freeze the Venom Dweevil using [[Ice Pikmin]], and then overwhelm them with a large squad of Pikmin.
