The Pikmin series is a video game series developed by Nintendo EAD that focuses on manipulating Pikmin. It currently consists of two games: Pikmin and Pikmin 2 (and their counterparts in the New Play Control! range on Wii), with Pikmin 3 in development.

Reception and sales
Both released games have been scored well by critics, Pikmin 2 scoring in at 90 and Pikmin scoring a 89. The total number of sales for the series is approximately 3.70 million[1].
