- November 7th: Pikipedia has decided to host a Mario Kart 8 tournament in celebration of the first DLC pack. Code is 3503-2941-4873, and most editors will be on at a certain time, which will be decided soon.
- November 7th: A Pikmin-based competition for Art Academy: SketchPad is currently taking place.
- November 5th: The Pikmin short movies are released on eShop, for 3DS and Wii U! They cost $4.99/£4.49/€4.99. A Pikmin 3 demo was also released on Wii U, free of charge.
- November 3rd: Pikcast Episode 3 is out!
- October 25th: The Pikmin short movies were displayed at the Tokyo Film Festival. New details emerged about it. Other things were announced as well, such as a Pikmin 3 demo being planned.
