:::::I remember this... I saw the 900 articles news thing, and almost singlehandedly merged and/or deleted every article that needed to be merged/deleted- those five articles dipped us down. I'm personally in favour of, once we reach 900 again, adding a news point that says "We've reached 900 articles '''for real''' this time." or something to that effect. ::::::Sure, but the problem could just repeat itself. We could be at 900, then find an article that could be merged into a different article, or a disambiguation that could be made into a redirect, and it dips us down back to 899. Honestly, I don't think it's worth putting much thought into this. The 1000 article announcement will be more important, and hopefully, more organized.

The winner has been announced for pikmin art-academy competition, just wondering if the page section could be edited. thanks.--JonLikesPikmin (talk) 18:36, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Go right ahead. Just remember to follow proper capitalization, and follow the format the previous news posts do. — {EspyoT} 18:45, 16 December 2014 (EST)

Alright then, thanks!--JonLikesPikmin (talk) 19:00, 16 December 2014 (EST)

I'm not sure why, but Aero's addition to the Iwata news screwed up the front page, causing the sidebar (including the Pikipedia logo which is cut off) and tabs up top to be smaller. --En Passant (talk) 01:47, 17 July 2015 (EDT)

Almost everything appeared fine to me, but I fixed a problem anyway. Try it now. — {EspyoT} 04:00, 17 July 2015 (EDT)
I dun goofed. Lol thanks Espyo. AeroBlaze777sig.png Talk 09:11, 17 July 2015 (EDT)
Out of curiosity, which computer languages do we use on this wiki> AeroBlaze777sig.png Talk 09:58, 17 July 2015 (EDT)
We use MediaWiki's markup language (the stuff that converts [[bla]] into a working link). Other than that, we rarely use HTML for pure webpage-element things (like <span> – a special block of text we intend on changing the look of), and we use CSS for styling tables and infoboxes, giving color to text, etc. — {EspyoT} 11:47, 17 July 2015 (EDT)
Ok nice. I'm at this summer camp and I was able to learn Python and HTML/CSS, and might learn PHP. AeroBlaze777sig.png Talk 13:45, 17 July 2015 (EDT)
Those are always handy things to learn. — {EspyoT} 15:12, 17 July 2015 (EDT)

Nintendo

So wait, now we have a "Nintendo" tag. Are we going to start writing news articles about Nintendo events, is that it? — {EspyoT} 07:56, 19 July 2015 (EDT)

895 articles

WE DO NOT HAVE 900 ARTICLES WE HAVE 895 Pikifan4 (talk) 09:19, 29 January 2016 (EST)

Some articles were eventually deleted. Hey, the bit of news only says we "reached" 900 on that day, which is true. Sooo... — {EspyoT} 09:24, 29 January 2016 (EST)
Which articles Pikifan4 (talk) 09:26, 29 January 2016 (EST)
Looks like only the "Meet the Admins" page from the old wikia was deleted. Other than that, it's a bunch of categories and such. MediaWiki must've read some of them as articles. Either way, the count on the main page said 900, so it's not like this "900" came from somewhere else. Removing the news would be bad, since it IS true that the counter did say 900 on that day, but keeping it there is also kinda iffy... Well, more articles will be created before long, and we can stop worrying about the 900 when that happens. — {EspyoT} 12:12, 29 January 2016 (EST)
