The '''Sphere of Good Fortune''' ({{j|進のタマ|Shin no Tama|Sphere of Progress}}) is a [[treasure]] found in {{P4}}. It is a billiard ball, specifically the 7 ball. It is located once in [[Story Mode]], with it being in [[The Mud Pit]]'s 1st sublevel. It can also be found in the [[Trial of the Sage Leaf]]'s [[5th Story: The White Key]].

The Sphere of Good Fortune is lying on the ground along the eastern edge of sublevel 1 of [[The Mud Pit]]. It is guarded by a [[Miniature Snootwhacker]], which should be defeated before attempting to collect it. The path back to the base is blocked by a patch of [[sticky mold]], which also contains a [[Mama Sheargrub]] and multiple [[Mitite]]s. If you want to skip this fight, you can simply use [[Winged Pikmin]], as they will carry the Sphere of Good Fortune around the stick mold patch.

== Trivia ==
* The 7-ball in billiards is sometimes altered to be a lighter shade of brown. This change is primarily used in televised pool games as the more distinct colors are easier to see through television monitors.
** The 4-ball is similarly altered on television to be pink instead of the standard purple. Interestingly, this change is reflected in the [[Sphere of Beginnings]], whereas the Sphere of Good Fortune sees no change.
