Guide

The following article or section contains guides.
The strategies shown are just suggestions.

The following section is a guide of how to complete The Impact Site. The methodology of this can be saw from the world record run of Pikmin by "Mokaygee" who finishes the game in 6 days.[1]

Day 1

After Captain Olimar wakes up from crash landing on PNF-404, head over to the Red Onion and then pluck the newly sprouted Red Pikmin. Using this Pikmin, collect both red 1 pellets from the nearby pellet posies. Once done, collect the other pellet from the posy north-west of the Red Onion while you wait for the Pikmin to sprout. Once collected, pluck at least 5 Red Pikmin and collect the red 5 pellet that was near the previous pellet you collect. While the pellet heads towards the Onion, continue plucking any Pikmin that have sprouted and collect the red 1 pellet that is located on a stump west of the crashed S.S. Dolphin. After all pellets have been returned and all Pikmin have been plucked, throw 10 Pikmin onto the cardboard box that blocks your way forward. The Pikmin will conjure up all their strength and push this box out of the way, clearing the way forward and allowing access to the giant tree stump. When you head into the newly opened area, you'll see the S.S. Dolphin's Main Engine to the right. 20 Pikmin are needed to carry this ship part so we need to sprout more little friends. Head up onto the giant stump, using the box that the Pikmin pushed, and collect the three 1 pellets and the 5 pellet. Continue plucking Pikmin until you have at least 20 then throw them onto the Main Engine and watch your Pikmin go as they drag this extremely heavy object with ease. While the engine heads to the ship, pluck all remaining Pikmin and just wait until it arrives at the Dolphin. Once it arrives, the ship will be fixed just enough to head into a low orbit for the night. Blast off and after all the intermission, head to the newly discovered area, The Forest of Hope.
