Hey. A user found a problem while editing the wiki under mobile: [https://twitter.com/KingCowfish/status/812699726848159745 link]. Basically, when trying to save, the wiki asks for a "confirmation code" (captcha, I'm guessing?) but there's no such thing anywhere.

It doesn't look like this is anon-user triggered, since anonymous users can't even edit the wiki under mobile. That's also another thing &ndash; since under desktop, users can edit without an account, why can't they under mobile? If you could make anons able to edit under mobile, that'd be great, but if not, don't sweat it. I think it's more important to have the code problem solved. Me and [[User:Marty|Marty]] also tried to edit using smartphones, but we were never asked for such a code, so maybe this only applies to [[Special:ListGroupRights|non-autoconfirmed users]].

Hey, Porple. There are some news, the folk from Pikmin Wiki, the one hosted at wikia, are moving in. The community is finally being united in a single place. Big changes will be happening here. Because the users at Pikmin Wiki don't want to lose their edit history, we figured the best way to keep the history but still allow the content to remain like normal was to import the wikia mainspace pages into an "Archive" namespace (edit history included), where we'd manually merge the best bits of the wikia page with the page we have already. :What about just importing the articles over our existing articles, then reverting them back to the newest Pikipedia revision? Merges can be done by comparing our latest revision to the newest Pikmin Wiki revision. If imports are done for pages that we shared pre-Wikia fork, then we'll be importing revisions that we already imported in 2010. Using a new namespace we'll have exact same revisions in two places, but if we import right over the articles then duplicate revisions will be skipped from import. Howdy Porplemontage, I just can't upload files from other Wikis I tryed files from Nookipedia and Mario Wiki, but keep on getting warnigs for the JPG images, and said this for an allowed image type: "Cannot upload this file because Internet Explorer would detect it as "text/html", which is a disallowed and potentially dangerous file type." Well, I put in the Source URL, in this case the source URL was: http://www.mariowiki.com/File:Special_Nintendo%27s_Facebook_Valentine%27s_Day_cover.jpg I done that, I put in the Destination filename in this case the Destination filenames were File:Special_Nintendo_Facebook_Valentines_Day_Cover.jpg and Special Nintendo Facebook Valentines Day Cover.jpg, and put in the summary and that's when I ran into problems... Javascript woes[edit]

Hey. There have been a few difficulties with our scripts lately. Mostly in the sense of scripts that used to be running weren't running any more. I changed some things, and now almost everything is up, except for the MediaWiki:PikipediaUpload.js script. From the little that I can gather, Common.js isn't even running on Special:Upload. Mobile captcha problems[edit]

Hey. A user found a problem while editing the wiki under mobile: link. Basically, when trying to save, the wiki asks for a "confirmation code" (captcha, I'm guessing?) but there's no such thing anywhere.

It doesn't look like this is anon-user triggered, since anonymous users can't even edit the wiki under mobile. That's also another thing – since under desktop, users can edit without an account, why can't they under mobile? If you could make anons able to edit under mobile, that'd be great, but if not, don't sweat it. I think it's more important to have the code problem solved. Me and Marty also tried to edit using smartphones, but we were never asked for such a code, so maybe this only applies to non-autoconfirmed users.

Ok yeah, it looks like the captcha extension and mobile extension aren't playing well together. You're correct, autoconfirmed users would skip it, but now I've made it so all users skip it. Parse error on Pikmin Fanon[edit]

Hey there Porple. Pikmin Fanon has been unavailable for over 24 hours because of a parse error, which reads: 

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ';', expecting ')' in /home/pikminfa/public_html/LocalSettings.php on line 384

Unpatrollable uploads[edit]

Hey. If an image is uploaded, and then a new version is uploaded on top, it'll become impossible to mark the first revision as patrolled. You can find examples on the recent changes with the farthest filter. Do you think you can do something about this glitch so that it doesn't happen again? Pikmin Fanon CSS[edit]

Hello Porple, I was wondering if you could help me making Pikmin Fanon's layout share a similarity with Pikipedia in that pages are displayed in a smaller rectangular box, while the background is displayed in the columns on either side of the article space. In Pikmin Fanon's current state, the article area runs all the way to the edge of the browser. I wanted to make it more like Pikipedia in order for Pikmin Fanon to look better on higher resolution monitors, like, say an ultrawide monitor. Thanks in advance!
