The '''Princess Pearl''' ({{j|ヒメシンジュ|Hime Shinju|Princess Pearl}}) is a [[treasure]] found in {{p2}} and {{p4}}. In ''Pikmin 2'', it appears as something resembling the bead of a {{w|Pearl|pearl necklace}}, an earring, or a Christmas tree ornament. In ''Pikmin 4'', the treasure instead resembles the {{w|pearl|natural pearl of a clam}}. Being found inside of a [[Pearly Clamclamp]] it can be assumed that it is the creature's pearl, though serving the role of a treasure in this game as opposed to the creature's carriable corpse in {{p1}}.

== Collecting the treasure in ''Pikmin 2'' ==

This treasure can be found on sublevel 6 of the [[Cavern of Chaos]], inside of a [[Wollyhop]]. Due to this sublevel featuring many [[Electricity|electrical hazards]] in the form of [[Anode Beetle]]s and [[electrical wire]]s, [[Yellow Pikmin]] are highly recommended in dealing with these hazards before carrying back the treasure. Additionally, there are lot of [[water]] bodies present in this sublevel, meaning that there is a chance that the [[Wollyhop]] containing the Princess Pearl can spawn in the water. If this is the case, [[Blue Pikmin]] should be used due to their water immunity.

This treasure is inside a [[Pearly Clamclamp]] in the circular arena in the northeastern corner of the [[Serene Shores]]. This enemy only appears after the middle of the day, when the tide is low. To collect this treasure, the Pearly Clampclamp must be defeated, which can be done by throwing Pikmin onto the treasure and whistling them off before the Clamclamp manages to clam its mouth down on your Pikmin.
