The '''Main Engine''' or the [[S.S. Dolphin|Dolphin's]] Main Engine is the first part you can find in Pikmin, it was needed to help [[Captain Olimar]] at least lift off of the [[The Impact Site|crash site]] where his ship fell. He was very lucky to find this piece first. He was able to transport this part with the help of his [[Red Pikmin|Pikmin]] he discovered first on the planet. After he found this part, he was able to go to [[The Forest of Hope]] and start his search for the remaining 29 parts.

On the first day you go through the main tutorial about the [[Pikmin (species)|Pikmin]]. Once you get the first Pikmin start collecting all the [[Pellet]]s including the ones on the two small stumps. Once you have 14 Pikmin, command them to move the box. Once the box is out of the way you find the engine. Dont think about grabbing it yet. Head up the rocks where the box made a ramp and get all of those Pellets until you have 25. Now you can pick up the most important part of the [[S.S. Dolphin]].
