The S.S. Dolphin was the personal delivery ship that belonged to Captain Olimar. It was wrecked when it crashed into a comet during a flight to a vacation spot and 30 of its pieces were scattered. Creatures called Pikmin were able to help Captain Olimar retrieve 30 pieces in 30 days or less. After Olimar blasted off the planet, the S.S. Dolphin was sold to help pay the Hocotate Freight Company's enormous debt.
