Hey there, I'm Blaze. You may know me from places like Deviantart or Tumblr. I'm a contributor to the wiki, currently I've been transcribing treasure catalog notes for Pikmin 4. While I became a Pikmin fan sort-of recently, these silly little plant dudes have a special place in my heart (and my brain). I was born in 2003 (I'm an adult, over 18) and I live in the United States (though I hope to one day move to Canada).

For anyone curious my favorite types of Pikmin are currently Winged Pikmin and Blue Pikmin.

My Pikmin Experience

When I was younger, I barely knew anything about Pikmin. I would see it every now and again around the internet , but before ever getting into the games, I just knew Olimar and the Pikmin as "those guys from Super Smash Bros. Brawl . Even as I got older I didn't care much for the Pikmin games since they were time management games, and time management is not one of my strong suits and I was more focused on platformers and RPGs instead of RTS games.

That was until my dad got Pikmin 3 Deluxe for the Nintendo Switch, well more accurately my little half-brother and my dad picked it out while they were getting me a new copy of the Link's Awakening remake (My brother lost the old cartridge, and it got chewed on by a dog we were dogsitting.). So I was like "eh, why not, I'll play it." cause hey, I'm not one to skimp out on a game I didn't pay for or asked dad to get. And just like that, I was hooked. Though I did lose interest once I 100%ed the game (other than the badges, but I didn't feel like scouring for the secret murals and doing Bingo Battles ,just to get achievements) and thus had nothing else to do.

A couple years pass, and Pikmin 4 was announced in the Nintendo Direct, I was ecstatic, so excited to play a new Pikmin game after only having Pikmin 3 Deluxe. I would eventually get it a week after it came out, and then I became hooked once again. So much so that I did a second playthrough during an internet outage. Since that, I can now safely say that I am indeed a big Pikmin fan.

I also plan to get Pikmin 1 (Nintendo Switch) and Pikmin 2 (Nintendo Switch) soon, probably in October, as I also want to get the Pokemon Scarlet and VIolet DLC this month and the Super Mario RPG Remake in November.

If you're wondering what happened regarding Pikmin Adventure, when my family got the Switch, we gave our Wii U to my dad's friend.
