The '''Quaggled Mireclops''' ({{j|ヌマアラシ|Numa Arashi|Swamp Storm}}) is a boss in {{p3}}, and is the fifth major boss encountered in story mode. It is first seen by [[Louie]], who tries to escape the Koppaites after they capture him. He is then swallowed by the creature along with a [[Wayward Moon]] he found, and both get spit out when the explorers defeat it.
The '''Spherical Atlas''' is a treasure in {{p2}}. It is a northern hemisphere of a {{w|globe}}; this being a representation of Earth suggests that the [[Planet of the Pikmin|Pikmin planet]] is Earth. This heavy treasure is found on the last sublevel (2) of the [[Emergence Cave]] in the [[Valley of Repose]]. It requires at least one [[Purple Pikmin]] on it to lift it, as it weighs 101 units, more than 100, the maximum weight [[100 Pikmin limit|one hundred]] weaker [[Pikmin family|Pikmin]] can carry. The enemy resembles a massive chunk of land (complete with plant life growing on it) that is supported by three enormous hooved legs, making it a tripedal creature. It walks around much like creatures from the [[arachnorb family]]. When first found, the boss' only vulnerable part &ndash; its plant-like bulb near its teapot-like mouth &ndash; is encased in a [[crystal]] (called a "Mireclops crystal"), which must be broken by [[Rock Pikmin]]. When the boss stomps on the muddy terrain that makes up its entire arena, it leaves a depression that is filled with water, presenting the threat of drowning to any non-Blue Pikmin.
When this treasure has been retrieved, the [[Sphere Chart]], part of the [[Exploration Kit]], is unlocked, granting access to the [[Awakening Wood]]. This is made possible through the coordinates it provides the [[Hocotate ship]]. The [[Geographic Projection]] is also a globe half, this time a southern hemisphere; and it too unlocks a new area, the [[Perplexing Pool]].

The Spherical Atlas.

The Spherical Atlas is a treasure in Pikmin 2. It is a northern hemisphere of a globe; this being a representation of Earth suggests that the Pikmin planet is Earth. This heavy treasure is found on the last sublevel (2) of the Emergence Cave in the Valley of Repose. It requires at least one Purple Pikmin on it to lift it, as it weighs 101 units, more than 100, the maximum weight one hundred weaker Pikmin can carry. This is also the first cave Purple Pikmin are found in, on the same sublevel as the treasure. Before carrying the treasure, it is recommended to defeat the Snow Bulborbs nearby.
