Hello! I'm Botanist and I like the Pikmin series and editing wikis. I make many kinds of edits to this wiki, including small edits to improve the quality of writing, large edits that add or reorganize information, helping out with templates, and uploading images.
Some of my main contributions include splitting the Menu article into many separate articles, documenting lots of Pikmin 3 and Hey! Pikmin menu information, uploading most Pikmin 3 Deluxe images so far, researching and documenting hints and objectives, and rewriting Pikipedia:About and Help:Editing. I've started a few articles, including Difficulty, Story Mode, Channel Gone Dry, and Combat. I have several plans for things I want to do on this wiki, but anyone is welcome to work on them – a wiki is never complete, and when there are more people helping out, the wiki is a better place for everyone.
The Pikmin series is my favorite game series (though none of its games are my favorite games on their own), and Pikmin 3 is my favorite game in the series. (I'm not an actual botanist, but I am interested in the strange life on PNF-404, so I thought Botanist was a good username for this wiki.)
Plans
- Document features of the Pikmin mobile application as information on the game is released.
- Expand Story Mode with more details on game mechanics.
- Expand HUD with more Pikmin 3 and Hey! Pikmin information.
- Add layout descriptions to levels in Mission Mode, Bingo Battle, and the Side Stories.
- Improve Pikmin type articles (and Pikmin family) to describe uses better.
- Continue to work on thorough menu documentation.
- Write speed completion guides for Pikmin 3 area articles.
- Fix links to the Menu article that should go to the articles on specific menus.
- Make detailed SVG maps of areas.
- Improve the wiki's accessibility to people with less knowledge of the franchise and its mechanics.
