On Day 11, I noticed that both the crystals and the Skutterchucks located in the Garden both vanished. I suspect that Pikmin 3, too, might have changes depending on the day's number. Phineas81707 (talk) 09:00, 27 November 2015 (EST) By crystals, I mean the ones near the Rock Onion. Phineas81707 (talk) 09:01, 27 November 2015 (EST)

Hm, maybe. It looks like the game's files have some data about what goes in what days, and that can be read, but it's a bit hard to understand. One of these days I'll give it a better read. — {EspyoT} 09:42, 27 November 2015 (EST)
I took a look at the point where the Blue Onion was located (before the cinder block has been bursted) and there were no Blue Onion. — AllPikminCollected (talk) 17:48, April 29 2025 (EST)

Icons[edit]

Is there an icon for the onions? I added the onions in the section "Other", but it seems like there are no icons for them. If not, who here makes the icons? Ben (talk) 16:47, 24 September 2018 (EDT)Ben

Looks like there are no icons. I usually do them. I'll create some when I have time. — {EspyoT} 18:30, 24 September 2018 (EDT)
Good. Is it hard to make them? --Ben (talk) 20:08, 24 September 2018 (EDT)Ben
Not really, but they take time. — {EspyoT} 14:38, 30 September 2018 (EDT)

Is there not one for elevator platforms either? I tried to add it, but it didn't work

--Ben (talk) 22:49, 4 October 2018 (EDT)

Never mind actually, I figured it out. --Ben (talk) 22:52, 4 October 2018 (EDT)
Yeah, it has to be plural: elevator platforms elevator platforms. — {EspyoT} 12:13, 5 October 2018 (EDT)

Could someone create an icon for the cinder block? I'll do the page for it. — AllPikminCollected (talk) 17:52, April 29 2025 (EST)

Enemy Verification[edit]

I noticed that the enemy list numbers are not verified. What does it mean? I understand that at least one enemy count is not verified to be true, but which one (or ones) are not verified. If i know which ones, I could easily check. Blowhog Time (talk) 16:08, June 8, 2026 (UTC)

Aside from the bosses, this verification notice can apply to any enemy. Enemy spawns are linked with the game's "P" value (progress value), so certain enemy spawn or despawn once a certain P value is it. For example, once the Data Glutton is collected, the P value will be P60, which causes the Iridescent Flint Beetle and a pair of Skitter Leaves (near the Rock Onion cave entrance) to spawn. But at P120 (when Louie is rescued in the Twilight River), all Skitterleaves will despawn, as well as the Skutterchucks nearby. Given that this game isn't as heavily datamined like Pikmin 2, some numbers likely come from in-game testing, which can be a bit unreliable, rather than from game-code, which is more reliable. So, there's a small chance that some enemies are incorrect, but who knows which. – Chazmatron, signing off! (TALK) 20:35, 8 June, 2026 (BST)

Okay, what version do I choose? Blowhog Time (talk) 20:29, June 8, 2026 (UTC)

Never mind, I got it. Blowhog Time (talk) 20:34, June 8, 2026 (UTC)
