Spanish name for the wollywog family[edit]
I saw your recent edit that added the Spanish name for the wollywog family, but the page says that the wollywog family is exlusive to the American and Japanese versions, so can you please upload an image of the game saying "Família de sapos gigantes" as proof? Mama09001 (talk) 00:47, April 23, 2025 (EST)
That was because I think that if you put a US Wii U on Spanish language (i don’t know if this is possible, i don’t have a Wii U) it would translate the families and put that, but I don’t know, so I erased the edit by now. If you have a Wii U, please can you proof what happens if you change the language? — AllPikminCollected (talk) 08:42, April 23, 2025 (EST)

Destroy the crystal with the Rock Onion and then bring back the body of the Medusal Slurker to the Rock Onion. Go to build the blue bridge and then head to the Armored Mawdad arena. Kill it by destroying its tail crystal and then charge to the tail. This should kill the boss fast. Then, bring back the Fire-Breathing Feast and the Data Glutton. Then, go up the bridge and go to the Scornet Maestro arena. Kill it by avoiding the Scornets. At the end of the battle, don't retrieve Louie and just focus on collecting fruits, because you do not need Louie stealing your juice. Collect the Tremendous Sniffer (with 3 bomb rocks), the Delectable Bouquet, the Insect Condo (which is inside the Burrowing Snagret), the Seed Hive, the Blonde Impostor and the Portable Sunset (which is next to 3 Orange Bulborbs, which need to be defeated, and past a bamboo gate. Near it, throw Pikmin to a dirt-mound looking thing that contains the Scorch Guard in it. Collect it and, when all is collected, end the day (making sure no Pikmin are idle outside near the Onion).

- Guide:
- See also: Quaggled Mireclops#Strategy.
- First, head to the Quaggled Mireclops arena. Kill it by using the strategy shown above, and retrieve the Wayward Moon and Louie. Head to the section with the Elevator platforms puzzle. To collect the 2 fruits present here: 85 Yellow Pikmin and 15 Winged Pikmin. First, throw 1 Pikmin in any of the 1st pair of elevator platforms. Then, charge 5 Winged Pikmin onto the Zest Bomb. Then, throw the remaining leader onto the next block. Destroy the electric gate, and then, you'll have a very difficult thing: the second pair of elevated platforms has different weights. But for it, just throw the leader that has thrown (in this guide, it would be Alph) Alph and 10 Yellow Pikmin and 10 Winged Pikmin throw 22 Yellow Pikmin onto the block where Alph is, and throw the Pikmin onto the elevator platform. That should elevate the other one. Charge the Winged Pikmin onto the Astringent Clump and retrieve the data file. Enter the Bug-Eyed Crawmad cave, kill the mini-boss, retrieve the Stellar Extrusion and Dusk Pustules, and end the day, making sure no Pikmin are in danger. One thing: Kill additionally Fiery Blowhogs, Yellow Wollyhops and Skitter Leafs, and bring all of them for Winged Pikmin, including the Bug-Eyed Crawmad. Then, end the day.

Cinder blocks[edit]
Hey, recently you created a page about the cinder block obstacle, and then created a second page with a different title. I think there should be a discussion about how to document this obstacle, because I'm not sure how it should be documented. There is only 1 cinder block in the series that functions as an obstacle, which is the one Louie destroys in the Garden of Hope. Other cinder blocks are just background decoration, and Pikipedia doesn't document this in that much detail. Because there's only 1 obstacle of this type, I think an article about it is unnecessary. It could be documented in a section of the Gate article (there was a section about it there in the past, but it was removed), in a section of the Minor obstacles article, or in the Garden of Hope article (where it is currently documented, but not with a section specifically about it). — Soprano(talk) 05:53, May 7, 2025 (EDT)
- So, I created a page for the obstacle and you say me it fits better on the gate article. That's true, but then I have a question: Why do other gates have their own page? — AllPikminCollected (talk) 14:06, May 7, 2025 (EDT)
- Previously, all types of gates were documented in the Gate article, but the article was split a few months after Pikmin 4 came out because it was quite large. Having separate pages for each type of gate means that each type can be documented in detail without making the Gate article too long. If there isn't much to document about a type of gate, then it's fine to document it in the Gate article. This is similar to the Hazard article, which links to articles about hazards that have their own articles, and documents hazards that don't have their own articles. — Soprano(talk) 05:45, May 8, 2025 (EDT)
- Okay, now I understand everything: A obstacle or hazard on which we don't have too much to say goes to the gate or hazard article. But if we have much to say and the article is getting very long, we create an own page for it, and in the gate or hazard article, we put just what it is, where it appears and if it substitutes something from the previous games. I think that's it. I just didn't caught it. Thanks for explaining it! — AllPikminCollected (talk) 10:40, May 8, 2025 (EDT)
Guides[edit]
I noticed that there are a lot of caves with missing or to be cleaned up sublevel guides. I'll do them. — AllPikminCollected (talk) 01:13, May 9, 2025 (EDT)
Pikmin 2 cave guides[edit]
These guides appear to be very short, and just describe the level, not how to complete it, but they explain what should be done to complete it. I think we need a guide, not a description. — AllPikminCollected (talk) 13:56, May 12, 2025 (EDT)
2-Player Battle Mode[edit]
Hi, I’ve noticed that you have been adding quantities to the objects present in the 2-Player Battle modes. Have these numbers been retrieved from internal game files, or have they been manually counted? -Chazmatron, signing off! (TALK) 8:25, 17 May, 2025 (BST)
- I've counted them on each layout, at least 3 times, taking profit I was playing 2-Player Battle with my brother. — AllPikminCollected (talk) 05:33, May 17, 2025 (EDT)
- I see. Thanks for responding. Object quantities for Pikmin 2 should really be taken from internal files. This is because it is more accurate than manually counting (as there's the possibility of miscounts and general human error) and the fact that some layouts may not spawn all of the objects in question. -Chazmatron, signing off! (TALK) 15:23, 17 May, 2025 (BST)
- Okay, but I don't have access to the game's files. One thing that also needs to be pointed that I only have a Nintendo Switch, so I only have Pikmin 2 (Nintendo Switch). Well, I'll try to access the game's files, but I don't know how. Can you let me know (if you know) how to access the game's files. — AllPikmin

Talk page replies[edit]
Hi, since you've been replying to a lot of old talk page messages, I'm letting you know that you're really just wasting your time. Almost all of the users from that period have moved on from Pikipedia, so you're extremely unlikely to get any response. Most of those messages were also from a time where talk pages were more used for generally talking about the article's subject, rather than improving the respective article, which is what they should be used for nowadays. -Gulliblepikmin 15:09, May 30, 2025 (EDT)
