Takarajimasha tableware[edit]
The Japanese company Takarajimasha has produced a handful of officially licensed Pikmin merchandise, two of which are vacuum insulated tumblers, and one was an ice maker and cup set. The first to release was the ice maker and cup set, which released on July 18th, 2023 to coincide with Pikmin 4's release.[2] The next item to release was one of the tumblers, specifically the full design version that released on November 6th, 2024.[3] The final item is the other tumbler, the peeking Pikmin version, which released a month later on Christmas.[4]
The ice maker and cup set comes with two blue silicone trays with an Ice Pikmin mold, and a small round glass that has the Pikmin 4 logo on the front surrounded by flowers, and the back has some Pikmin – all of which are colored in blue. Once water is poured into the trays and they are locked, once frozen, the ice will resemble an Ice Pikmin. A year later on July 10th, 2024, the set was resold in a B5 format for easier selling.[5]
The two tumblers are made of stainless steel and can hold up to 450ml. The full Pikmin cup is cream in color and it is patterned with the Pikmin logo, as well as clovers and Pikmin. The peeking Pikmin cup's top half is cream and the bottom half is brown; the latter half has the Pikmin logo, and the former half has 3 Pikmin sprouts – or peeking Pikmin.
