Decor Pikmin (デコピクミン?, lit.: "Decor Pikmin") are a collectable in Pikmin 4, added in the version 1.1.0 update. Much like Decor Pikmin in Pikmin Bloom, they are special Pikmin that wear real-world human objects. They hide in the aboveground portions of each area, typically in hard to find spots outside of the usually explored area. They cannot be whistled, and are generally unresponsive until Dingo is rescued. The day after Dingo is rescued, he will begin providing hints to each Decor Pikmin's location, and the Decor Pikmin can be collected by taking a photo of them with the Field Camera as detailed here. This will also add the Decor Pikmin to the Decopedia, which can be accessed by talking to Dingo in the Rescue Command Post. When viewing a Decor Pikmin in the Decopedia, a "Call to Attention" button can be pressed which will cause the Decor Pikmin to do a unique animation.

Once a Decor Pikmin joins the player's squad, they behave exactly like a normal Pikmin of their respective type. If a Decor Pikmin dies, their decor will be briefly left behind as the Pikmin's soul disappears, before the decor vanishes shortly after. If a new Pikmin of the same type is then pulled from the Onion, it will be wearing the same decor, meaning that Decor Pikmin cannot be permanently lost. Likewise, whenever the player calls Pikmin out of the Onion or holds onto one, the game will prioritize giving the player Decor Pikmin over regular Pikmin. Decor Pikmin cannot be thrown into Candypop Buds, even if they are the only Pikmin of that type the player has available at that moment; they simply land on top of the open flower and slide off.

Dingo's hints to the location of each Decor Pikmin are displayed in a "Decor Pikmin Hints" menu, which can be accessed by pressing the ZR Button on the Switch on the Radar Map. Each Decor Pikmin has one hint, which consists of an image of the general location where the Decor Pikmin can be found along with a sentence description also alluding to its location.

After a day is completed, the player can send their Decor Pikmin data to Pikmin Bloom. Decor Pikmin that are sent to Pikmin Bloom are rewarded through Gold Seedlings.

There are 4 Decor Pikmin hidden in each of the 6 areas in the game, for a total of 24 Decor Pikmin. 14 are pre-existing Decor Pikmin available in Pikmin Bloom. 8 are categorized as Special Decor Pikmin in that game as part of the "Pikmin 4 Toy" category. The remaining 2 are new additions for Ice Pikmin, as part of the "Snowy Day" location set and a new Special Decor Pikmin set called "Ice Cream: Extra Flavor".
