Alph is one of the new characters in Pikmin 3. A is the blue-suited captain that has teal hair similar to Captain Olimar's, a slightly smaller nose compared to most Hocotatians, and freckles on his cheeks. His eyes are always open, much like when other characters like Olimar or Louie are surprised. He wears a white spacesuit whose antenna, backpack, collar, gloves, and boot soles are all blue. Nothing else is known of this character at the time due to no information being released by Nintendo, but it is possible that he plays the role of the main character. He comes from the planet Koppai.

Trivia

• Alph was the only character playable in the E3 2012 Pikmin 3 demo.

• In the demo, the sound of his whistle is the same as Olimar's in the first two games.
• His name might be a reference to the Alien from the popular sitcom "ALF"
• Alph is also short for Alpha, the term used for the letter A in the military. This makes sense as Brittany and Charlie are also used for B and C in the miltary alphabet.
