Character A is one of the new characters in Pikmin 3. A is the blue-suited captain that has teal hair similar to Captain Olimar's, a slightly smaller nose compared to most Hocotatians, and freckles on his cheeks. His eyes are always open, much like when other characters like Olimar or Louie are surprised. He wears a white spacesuit whose antenna, backpack, collar, gloves, and boot soles are all blue. Nothing else is known of this character at the time due to no information being released by Nintendo, but it is presumed that he plays the role of the main character.

Trivia
- Character A was the only character playable in the E3 2012 Pikmin 3 demo.
- In the demo, the sound of his whistle is the same as Olimar's in the first two games.
