animtest is an unused area in Pikmin's files. It is used in the animation viewer, a debugging feature within the game, which explains the area's name.
Overview
The entire area is a single large rectangle, with no walls, slopes, or other terrain features. The texture of the ground is an uneven checkerboard pattern in green and light green.
